Moving
Each player starts off with two knights. Knights move in an "L-shape", as the graphic below shows. So they can move two squares up or down, then one square to the left or right. Or, they can move one square up or down then two squares to the left or right. Knights are the only pieces that can jump over their own or their opponent's piece(s), as long as it makes an L-shaped move.
Capturing
Knights capture the piece on the final landing square of their movement as the illustration shows above.
